Tell us your module, goals and availability. We review your request and suitable tutors before sending a matching proposal. Review the proposal and confirm the tutor, lesson time and terms before booking.
There is no checkout payment when you submit a request during the current adult pilot. Public checkout is not active. This does not mean all tutoring is advertised as free; confirm the lesson terms with SubjectScout before booking. School question-bank practice is free.
The current private tutoring pilot is for adults aged 18 and over. Private tutoring for under-18 learners is not available. School learners can use the free question bank, and parents can read our safeguarding information.
We will tell you if we cannot find a suitable available tutor. Sending a request does not guarantee a match or book a lesson. You choose whether to proceed only after reviewing the proposal, price and lesson terms.
Include your budget in the request. Pricing depends on the tutor and learning need, so agree the price, lesson length and cancellation terms before confirming. There is no checkout payment to send a request during the current pilot. Public checkout is not active.
Before approval, our operations team checks teacher identity, at least one academic credential and the required agreements. We review subject fit for matching proposals. Confirmed lessons use SubjectScout's built-in video classroom.
