Payment and Payout Policy

Public payments are disabled until the commercial payment gate is complete. Once secure checkout is activated, a learner will pay only after choosing a teacher and time, and only after the teacher accepts the booking.

The planned commercial model is that the learner sees the full lesson price, the teacher receives 80% of the eligible lesson amount, and SubjectScout retains 20% from which it expects to cover payment-processing costs unless final country-specific terms say otherwise.

Teacher payouts require completed payout onboarding, any required identity or tax verification, a recognized completed lesson or approved balance entry, and successful reconciliation in the internal ledger. Payout timing, transfer fees, tax withholding, and failed-payout handling remain subject to final payment-provider and legal approval.

!
These pilot terms and notices cover the limited current service; country-specific legal review remains required before broader commercial launch, payment activation, or under-18 tutoring.
