Pilot Terms of Service

SubjectScout currently operates a controlled launch-preparation pilot: free, unofficial school exam practice for learners aged 16-18, and managed tutor sourcing for adult learners (18 and older). A booking is not confirmed until a real teacher accepts and SubjectScout confirms the lesson.

Personalised tutoring, teacher messaging, and live classrooms remain adults-only. Under-18 tutoring will not be enabled until the required country-specific legal review, verified guardian linkage, enhanced background checks, and safeguarding operations are approved.

Public checkout is being prepared for commercial launch but is not active until SubjectScout has approved payment-provider onboarding, live webhook evidence, refund handling, and final country-specific commercial terms. Until then, payment requests must come only through an approved SubjectScout operations process.

Learners must provide accurate information, use the platform lawfully, respect intellectual property, and keep account access private. Teachers act independently and must follow the published teaching and safeguarding rules.
