Human review, not automation
A real person on our team reviews every proposed teacher before you see it. Nothing is matched by an automated system alone.
Up to three proposals
We target up to three human-approved proposals, as quickly as your subject allows. Availability is not guaranteed.
Payment deferred during pilot
No money is collected through the public site right now. Once secure checkout is activated later, it will happen only after you choose a suitable teacher and time.
Your materials stay private
Materials you upload are scanned before they are shared, every download is logged, and clean materials go only to the reviewed, shortlisted teachers you agreed to. Several files? Compress them into one ZIP; ZIP files are never extracted automatically.
A built-in classroom
Confirmed lessons take place in SubjectScout's own classroom with single-use access. Camera and microphone are optional and start switched off, and lessons are not recorded at the moment.
Who can request a tutor
Personal tutor requests are currently limited to learners aged 18 or older. School learners can use the free practice in the meantime.
